It's your choice. The frontmost and rearmost bolts get the springs. Imagine a 40 or so pickup back in the day driving along rough, potholed, wallowed out dirt roads, twisting one way then the other. The frames do twist. The springs allow the frame to twist without transferring all of that twist into the cab.

So your choice. If the frame is much stiffer than stock you might be ok without the springs, but in my opinion, you might as well use them unless there is a good reason not to.
