About restricting the front oil galley hole.
In 1970 Dan Iandola published an article in a hot rod type magazine.
This was for a B block with drilled crankshaft with full oil pressure to rods and mains. Not a "dipper' ENGINE.
It was suggested that oil hole be plugged and drilled to .070 (this number is from my memory only) along with other changes.
In 1976 we used the specs in this article to build a full pressure B block for use with a Miller OHV head.
This project was eventully abandoned due to multiple cracks in this block which had been raced on dirt tracks with an 8.25 Thomas head and 2 97s.
In 1989 I had a totally STOCK B block built which has been in the car since then.
