Going by the serial number stamped on the engine, this car was built in mid December 1928.
It should have a multi disk clutch, I checked with the previous owner and he says that it's a multi disk clutch. But after what you told me, I am not so sure anymore.
Obviously there were modifications done and this car is not stock.
I have to move the car to a friends garage before I take anything else apart. Right now I am using a horoscope and looking in the thru the inspection hole in the bell housing.
After I take it all apart, I will take pictures and send them in.
