Default Re: Pitman Arm Question

I had a shortened pitman arm on my RHD 1930 roadster with 7 tooth box.
The steering hit both stops just as it did with the longer arm.
The box broke so I fitted a 2 tooth box and the steering still hits both stops.
The stop dome nuts both have thick lock washers. Without these the steering radius is tighter but the 550 tyres rub on the brake rods on full lock.
