Right. Fuel being heavier than air, it tends to drop out at that moment of acceleration when the butterfly first opens, there will otherwise be a "bog" or hesitation without an extra squirt of fuel to compensate by the accelerator pump circuit, until everything gets caught up. In cold weather this pump shot needs to be richened further.
