I have a temp gauge on all 3 of my Model As. I put the threaded fitting in the outlet myself because I don't like the idea of having it come out the side like the ones the vendors flog. Once the sensor is installed, it makes getting to the head nut directly under it, difficult. Mine come out of the back of the outlet.
