To Tom's comment, I saw a guy at a show with a "rat rod" A who made barbed wire it looked like out of 12-2 wire and used that for his connections. I didn't notice how he had it jammed in there, but it had character at least and he drove it there.

Got a coathanger :-) ... kidding
