My Dear O'l Dad (Henry@1140) had Bill do a set that went on our '36 Phaeton and it required purchasing some cores. Bill was up to it, and many years later the car still sucks up the bumps.
Andrew was who I turned to when I needed reliable shocks for my '35 Fordor. He identified the parts I sent (of course they were replacements from the period), then gave me a delivery estimate. All were correct. The refurbished pieces bolted up like I was the dude on the assembly line. No fiddling required.
