Also, you are correct, the carb is off my grandpas 49 Mercury. I have had the car since late March and have some entertaining “fixes” I have came across that I have been cleaning up. I should take the time to post a few for others to enjoy. I have a second carb that I may just entertain the idea of sending to you for repair if I think this one will continue to give me fits.
