Hey....I actually have a big spot in my heart for those old & nostalgic hot rod Chevys. Was just curious why you'd pick a 265 over an early 283. The real trick piece would be a '55 265, which is easily distinguishable from a '56 or '57 265.
Now, do you actually have a way to visually differentiate between a '56 265 block and a '57 283 block? What is difference between '57 283 block & '58 283 block? Fun stuff, huh? DD
