I bought two of the ones that Bubba shows from Amazon - work like a charm on a H&C Dual Coil.

Given the challenges with the secondary high-voltage yellow plate on the H&C distributors, I highly recommend that you have the entire ignition setup and tested on a distributor machine by somebody who knows them.

Of the four H&C distributors I've recently worked on, only one didn't have an issue with the secondary spark finding ways to go to ground inside the distributor. This causes issues with four of the cylinders not firing correctly (or not at all). I've made appropriate mods to resolve the issues - depending on what I find. Also, make sure you run solid-core spark plug wires - you do not want "resistor" wires or spiral core, they cause the secondary problems to increase.

Lastly, it is important to synchronize the points on a distributor machine - I've seen them as much as 5 degrees out of sync if one just installs them, sets dwell and runs them. Best of luck!
