Does anyone know why the two rectangular slots and 2 holes might have been put in the hood of the 1940 Tonner. Also it has what looks like a M/H front axle. Would that have been something commonly used in NZ? Is it possible this is a military vehicle? It's mind boggling to see all this iron in such good condition under one roof. Thanks for sharing your photos.
