Default Re: No nut manifold clamp

On RHD cars the steering column leaves little space for the manifold clamp and bolt plus nut. So I braze a stud into the clamp (Just a bolt with the head cut off) and use a nut only. Otherwise the bolt head can interfere with the oil drain tube bolt when rotated to miss the clutch pedal shaft as the pedal is operated. This way a brass nut can be used which will not rust and seize as steel nuts can.
