Beater I've also been told over the years by the older guys that a quart of fuel oil or diesel fuel in a ten gallon tank of go juice is good for a Model A too, if you don't have MMO, for upper cylinder lubrication and sticky valves.
Marvel Mystery Oil works really good in our Model A and also the '36 Ford with the later Flattie. It keeps the valves from sticking. Cars definitely start easier and run better with the stuff in the gasoline.
