I know what you guys mean...... I have a 37' "tin side" all original on a stand in my shop just to look at. My uncle has an iron side, doing the same thing. Fully restored motors never to go in a car. We sold a 40' and another that was a spare for a midget. We had bought 3 motors and a isles full of NOS parts from the estate of a midget racer that raced here in Detroit. The 47' Curtis was for sale too but for $25k. I sat in it and man those guys must have been beat up by the end of a race!
