I have seen some leakless pumps start leaking. It is easy enough to have a leakless pump also with the original type seal. Seems like the best solution in my book. Have it all packed and ready to go if the seal goes.

FWIW, my brothers car has the original type untouched since 1970 with no problems and many miles.
