Gery, Re your charge about putting your hand outside the car, I'd ask the judge to define "outside". I'd argue that "outside" means beyond the curtilage of the vehicle. After all, the law is to prevent people from having body parts vulnerable to being hit by a passing car, roadside post etc. I haven't checked but I'd be surprised if the act define "outside". In a modern car, anything outside the window is beyond the curtilage but in a Model A, the hand is still within the curtilage, so the charge has no basis. Move to dismiss, your honour!!!
