Default Re: 1939 ford convertible windows

Having gone through the ordeal of rebuilding a '39 Plymouth convertible coupe which is a Briggs bodied car, the same as Ford used I found that many Ford open car parts were the same as the Dodge,Plym, Chrysler, Desoto (DPCD) cars of '37-39. The one variation is if the body is a Murray, which Ford also used in their open cars.
One of the big differences between Ford and DPCD open cars is the window tract and window roller assemblies. The DPCD assemblies are built to a much higher standard.
