A couple of years ago, I was testing a fully isolated voltage (12 to 6) drop device that also gave out "clean" power we were developing. To test it, I installed a bunch of cheap 12 volt devices in my '51, including a GPS, a CD player, and a backup camera, The latter turned out to be addictive, so I made it a permanent fixture. I mounted the camera on the bottom of the license plate using the bracket supplied, but the hardest part was mounting the screen so you could see it without it sticking out like a sore thumb. I think I paid $30 on Amazon and it works great (too great, actually).
