I'm mainly a 59a guy and don't have much experience removing a pan on the 35/36 years. On some years/models you have to take the wishbone loose from the rear connector and block it down for clearance. It is just mainly an issue of clearance to drop the pan down. Then positioning the crank to get it off. Hope some early pick-up guys can provide you better information.
