Somehow I lucked out. No damage to the fan belt I can see. Turns out the armature & field coils were bad in the generator and they told me the cut out was also bad. Hopefully, I'll have everything back in "Martha" by the middle of next week and I will make sure the nut & washer are on the back side of the mounting bolt. Thanks for all of your input. Smitty
