I have turned off the ability for people to add themselves. Most people could not do it because they did not have a Google account. Even with a Google acoucnt, peoplel were having problems, plus unintended changes to the map were accidentally messing it up (moving people from the US to Japan, for example).
So I am adding people. I takes me about 15 seconds to add a person. All requests above have been done.
