Here's a story for ya'. When I was in the computer service business a couple of ice ages ago, I installed an inventory control system for the "Stores" (parts and supplies) function of a local steel mill. After three months, I had a meeting with the management where we evaluated the system's performance. They were very satisfied with it, but had one complaint; one category of items was way off, while the others were damn near perfect. They asked me why. I looked it over, and when I pointed out that the category that was off was "Hand Tools", they decided that they should look elsewhere for the problem.
