I sure hope you're kidding. My shop in North Central Minnesota had been rodent-free for the 12 years I have owned it, and I believe that one of the main reasons is that I have NEVER allowed anything edible of any kind in it. No bags of chips, no candy bars, not even a can of pop or even a beer (which is a real sacrifice). I believe that as long as there is absolutely NOTHING to eat in a building, the little bastards won't come in. These forums are rife with stories of people with rodent problems caused by abundant food supplies. One of the worst offenders is dog food. People store their pet food in their garages and shops and then wonder why they have problems.
