I was looking on Snyder's and Bert's websites and all they had were cables for popout switches and mine does not have a popout switch.
It kind of surprises me because I know he always tried to use original parts.

I'm not sure this is correct,,, the suppliers all sell replacement cables for non pop out switches. Get one and change it out, yours has some sort of back yard alley fix as the city folks put it..
There is a fake look alike pop out switch available which is of good quality. This can be bought with or without the cable...I recommend doing both
