It doesn't claim to eliminate water boiling out. It states it reduces it. What it does do is eliminate carrying the sulfuric acid mist out with oxygen and hydrogen bubbles. My battery, after being in the car for 10 years, has "0" corrosion on the terminals and surrounding area, battery box and hold downs.
