Al's28/33 set up is as original. The two holes in the battery cover plate weren't for attachment purposes, but rather to facilitate it being placed on a hook on a conveyor line for dip painting as it is so written on the original engineering drawing (it is a carryover Model A part). The transmission cover was securely attached with flat head slotted wood screws and countersunk washers to ensure that it was properly positioned and not touching the shift lever housing or hand brake handle.
