The cabs will interchange but you will have to come up with an underseat pan and a seat riser if you want to convert the 1 1/2 ton cab to a pickup cab. There are various front sheetmetal parts that do not interchange including the fenders, inner fender panels, and running boards. The steering columns do not interchange, either.
