I gave up on trying to get the ebrake band fit. If
I take the emergency band out, the keyway out, the hub will go on very tight on the service brake. So tight that I can not pull it off by hand. Have to put the hub puller on.
I put the keyway in and I can not drive it on even enough to catch a thread to put on washer and nut.
Someone mentioned the bearing. Could it be that I do not have the seal pushed in far enough? It is set just below the snap ring.
I have swapped hubs to no avail. Neither will go on that passenger side. Both will go on the driver side. Tells me it is not the drum.
What should I try next?
