Default Re: 1930 Murray Town Sedan Value

You need to get it running and driving for any good price. This includes taking all 4 wheels off and verifing all 4 'upgraded' brakes are still usable. Sitting usually causes the wheel cylinders to muck up. If the fluid leaked then it needs new linings.

Once you are safe to drive you need to run it some. Where does it feel safe to drive? If it is comfy at 50+ MPH then it is in good shape. If it feels not right above 45 then it still has issues.

This is a basic guide anyone should use to judge a value. If you can not do the work these fixes add up to thousands of dollars.

Oh, the who pro restoration thing. I know of a couple of cars that were professionally restored. The people each put around $8000 into the car to get them reliable and safe to drive.
