The irony in this is, -think about how many 40B Standard cars had the top irons removed and likely thrown away during the 50s - 70s when DeLuxe irons were installed by restorers. Back then, no one wanted a Standard roadster, -and no one wanted to buy standard top irons.

Another FWIW, Karl Wescott and I were chatting a few months ago and his new reproduction DeLuxe top irons were about ready to be released. He may be a good candidate for manufacturing the Std. 40B irons in the future.
