The basic swap itself is fairly straightforward using Ford/Merc parts, but understand, it's NOT similar to a '40, especially when it comes to FAN clearance. The '36 RADIATOR leans back into the engine compartment at a significant angle, whereas the '40 radiator is straight up and down.....'40s are easy. Who has successfully come-up with a mechanical fan on an 8BA in a '36 that actually WORKS, and how did ya do it? We're not talking electric fans, nor converting front of engine to 59-style set-up. DD
