Default Re: Electric fan for a flattie

Not sure how much room you have in front of your '49 radiator but I use a Spal pusher on my '35 and it fits neatly between the grill and the radiator. totally un-noticeable and works great. Put your thermostat control sensor inside your hot water system. Mine I slid into the radiator hose where it connects to the radiator after leaving the head on the passenger side. I tried to mount it to the outside of the radiator initially and got poor results (couldn't adjustment right, wouldn't turn off or wouldn't go on soon enough). Works great if placed inside the cooling system some where before the water / coolant is cooled.
