Did I make a mistake, I had not seen the bell housing for over a year, stored
away. I went out and looked at it, and it does have the mounting pads..
sorry...
I think my current plans are to have the block hot tanked, then

check the Rods and Pistons, rings, crank either get a new rotating assembly or
cleanup what I have. then decide on a new Cam.
I looked on the net, and have not seen a solid roller lifter for the Y block
have any of you seen one?
Mike thanks for that info... I do find it a little confusing. But a car bell housing
will bolt to the block.. so I have an option...
