It's a Ford of Canada export and all of the Canadian '33 V8s had engine numbers of four digits or less as unlike in the U.S., they were numbered in blocks of 5,000. There were three blocks for '33s, C18H, C18N, and C18X in that order with the subject sedan's engine falling right about in the middle of the C18H block of 1 to 5,000.
