Hi Karl,
I am sorry to read this. We had it here in Sonoma 2 years ago and again this year.
They stopped it less than 1/4 mile from us. We refused to evacute. I have many friends who lost everything.
Now there are fires burning again here and the smoke is so thick it is like midnight at noon here.
The memories all came back.
I still check the hills every night before bed for any signs of smoke or flames.
This is life changing.
I hope all goes well for you and you are spared.
