There’s threads on here about building a pressurizing fixture to pressurize the system. I’d do what has been mentioned and crank it with plugs out a couple times. But, I still think I’d pull the pan for piece of mind. If you you know the motor is sludgy, you’ll probably find plenty there......Mark
