I'll refer to the Daytona power valves...just recently available...no machining to the carb is required. This PV replicates within reason the original Ford/Holley...The only drawback ,and it's minor ,is the gasket face on the valve is not flat or square with the threads. This face , in my opinion, must be machined to make it right. There is enough
material on the face to machine it square and flat.
