Phil,

Original aftermarket red license lens are scarce, but you can make one by using the special translucent red paint available to restore modern tail lamps to their original color. It comes in a small aerosol can and used on the inside of an original clear lens it looks exactly like the originals. It should also hold up well by being on the inside of the lens.
