Default Re: Clutch adjust problem

I finally got to the clutch adjustment problem where I couldn't turn the clevis to get correct freeplay because the frame is in the way. I took out the clevis pin at the adjusting end, the two bolts holding the clutch shaft to the frame and the pin holding the clutch shaft to the short piece coming out of the housing. This allowed me to slide part 7503 off the clutch shaft that goes into the housing and moved it so I could remove it for checking, cleaning and greasing. It was relatively easy then to turn the clevis, lengthening it, actually too much at first, then to the correct freeplay. Problem solved and thanks again for all the help. Working on brakes now, learning a lot as I go...
