The guy I go to uses sand nothing special .He has finer sand and a more coarse sand . Everyone makes a great fuss about what people use . I have never had a warped panel and the metal is always spotless. I think it all depends on who is doing your work just like every other specialized task !

I too have a roadster that is going on a 32 frame .you have to rework the subrails for the kick up and then re attach to the lower crossmember.


now we are getting somewhere !!

and the new gap . it will need a little clean up but i think it will turn out nice !
