I bought a 28 Ford roadster pickup a few years back sight unseen. Turned out it was a pretty good truck. The guy selling the car didn't restore it, his "uncle" did so he didn't know squat about the truck. A few things the seller didn't mention. One was that the driver's door was cracked by the door latch where they usually crack so the door needed repair and repainting. The other was that it didn't have the proper 1/2 shaft starter, it had the later model 5/8 shaft starter and when going down the road the starter never disengaged. I had to round up the proper starter for it. I probably paid a little too much. Oh well, live and learn.
