i've bought a few cars off the internet. even with lots of photos and long conversations, they are never 100% of what you thought you bought. i've never been burned so bad i wish the deal hadnt happend, but many have. just lucky maybe. keep in mind things always look better in pictures, and basic car salesman theory is never volunteer any bad information, only answer questions
