LOWEST BIDDER is the only thing that SOME of the American Bean Counters care about and it is the Bean Counters who are selecting the vendors and signing contracts for making tubes or whatever in China, Vietnam or where ever.

I heard folks say that bad tubes was the Chinese guy making the tubes fault.

Then I remembered that China has millions or billions of bikes in country so they know how to make GOOD inner tubes! ... if the price is right.

Ain't so?

I also have a set of 600 16s on the Coupe ... Tubes are more than 60 years old ... no leaks.
