So have you checked your antenna connections as in the center connection and also the ground for the antenna ?? Lots of things mentioned here but the antenna would be the first thing to test. Connect another antenna for a trial. The voltage of your charging system should be 7.5 volts with some revs up so you did not have a problem there with your original regulator. Power supply and ground on radio case should be tested also when driving along. Regards, Kevin.
