Trial and more trial! We mixed small portions on a plastic surface, maybe 1/4 oz black and added drops of red until we got what we wanted. I had a seal brown garnish moulding off the car on hand for comparison. The mix did not seem to change color when it dried. We were pretty happy with our sample so then we mixed about 4-5 ounces (90% or so black, 10% red) and were satisfied with the match. Our W/S frame had a lot of shelf scuffs on it so, what the heck, we painted it (foam brush!) and it turned out very nice.

Now we need to come up with a match for "cigarette cream".
