Default Re: where can I find actual paint chips ?

You will need to keep in mind that even well preserved paint chips are more often than not compromised. In other words, they no longer can be counted on 100% to accurately reproduce a correct shade.
The restoration manuals offered by the Ford Club are a nice guide but reproducing colors accurately in a modern book is near impossible. I believe one or more of those books warn the reader the chips are only to be used as a guide of sorts.

If you have a specific color in mind, the best results an be obtained by finding an authentic car and then, getting at (examples) the inside of a door, beneath a dash, roof - behind the head liner...
NEVER use any area that has been expose to the weather or sun as it WON'T be accurate.
