Has anyone really found any true evidence of "fricition tape" or the such when dissassembling a tank from the cowl knowingly for the first time in 80 plus years since it was originally assembled?
Either it has deteriated over the years or I am missing something with the 10 plus tanks that I have removed over the years.
HOWEVER, I think it is a good idea to include it when the tank goes back on as Tom suggestes.
