Ford did not publish a GVWR for '32 commercial vehicles, but if they did it sure as hell would not have been 2,579 pounds for the pickup given that the Ford-published shipping weight (no coolant or gasoline or spare tire and tube) of the B closed cab version was 2,366 pounds and that of the V8 version was 2,496 pounds. They may not have been heavyweight hauling champions, but they could indeed carry more than 213 or 83 pounds, respectively, in the form of driver, passenger, coolant, gasoline, spare tire and tube, and bed load.
