Its hard to set the height while still in the car, but, the fingers can be adjusted equal if the pedal height and operation seem good except for a chatter.

All I do is push the release bearing and notice which finger it contacts first and mark it. Then I set a .0015" feeler strip between each finger and the bearing face and adjust accordingly [ until there is a slight drag]. When done push the pedal a few times to settle the fingers and check everything again.
